Oh I can almost smell them. I miss the early CA spring. Our lilacs have not even begun to show swelling in the leaf buds yet - we are a couple months away from lilacs. A few daffodils are up - that is all - and some crocus.
What a beautiful blog! I carried white lilacs at my wedding. Another quick aside - we lived in a Cotswold cottage before moving to the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Lilacs are among my most favorite of flowers! We have several bushes around our house (thankfully. I just don't think I could live without them), but they aren't out until May. But every year the children go out and cut a bunch to bring in to me. They fill the whole house with their intoxicating scent!
