This is a double post for my Rose Challenge and Beverly's Pink Saturday.
Happy Pink Saturday everyone. I am sharing this cute pink rose that I found yesterday morning on my walk. It's name is Betty Boop and it is just soooo like her: small, perky, colorful, and just plain cute. If you are interested in roses, go back to my April 1st post to see the first rose of my challenge. Then check every day of April to see them all. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

ReplyDeleteBetty Boop roses are one of my favorite. I created my own little "Monet" rose garden, and she's right in the center. Happy Pink Saturday!

Love your Betty Boop rose.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be so easy to grow roses in Michigan...but for me it is not! I keep trying, tho!

ReplyDeleteI definitely did take the time to enjoy all of your rose days. Our roses haven't started to bloom yet, but I do see the tiniest little buds forming.
The rose in my banner is my Double Delight, and the one on my left sidebar is my Peace.
I wasn't familiar with Betty Boop, but it is stunning. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday,
Valerie
Just the name Betty Boop makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteBetty Boop is one fantistic little lady. I think she's great but no one else around me seems to like her as much as I do. I'm glad I found another fan. Her rose is gorgeous, what do you have to do to have a rose named after you? I guess you just have to be an icon of some sort. I think that leaves me out of the running! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love roses so much! Your photos are exquisite! Pink Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beauty, can't wait till I have something blooming.

Beautiful! I've been stealing some lovely pink roses from the garden of an empty house down the street - I'd much rather see them in my house rather than watch them die on the bush. There's something extra special about pink roses! ::Jill
ReplyDeleteIs there anything as lovely and perfect as a rose? Love the photos! V.
ReplyDeleteOh, your rose is sooo beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.

ReplyDeleteWe have such in infestation of Japanese Beetle now that I only have a few of my roses left. They're doing very well though and very precious to me.
Have a great Pink Weekend!
Great goodies you're sharing! Don't you just ♥ Pink Saturday? This is the one day that I get to totally indulge myself, get all girlie, drink tea with cream, and share time with friends on the internet.
ReplyDeleteWent out to dinner with friends, so I'm a little late, but better late than never, right? I wish you a Sunday filled with family, l♥ve, sunshine and peace.
Such beautiful roses, I'm so jealous. I did not realize how short the growing season was or how little sun most of us get in our yards up here. Finally, I got a Peace rose to bloom after 3 years and hopefully I'm finding the right ones for my area to plant. Thanks so much for sharing, they are just beautiful. Happy Pink Saturday!!
ReplyDeleteYour rose photos are just wonderful I've been reading your other rose posts, and am so impressed by your photography! And your gardening skills!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink weekend!
So pretty and delicate looking! I am catching up on your posts here. Almost there.
