It's Mosaic Monday again at the Little Red House and also Amongst The Oaks. I'm loving this mosaic habit. It's fun to find a theme and create a new one every Monday. I have to confess though; I'm just using PhotoShop to make mine. I made a grid and I paste the different photos under it, sizing and cropping as necessary. If I have a tall photo or a wide photo I just go back to the grid layer and erase the grid line making a larger square. After I get the photos how I want them, I adjust the color of the grid using Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation until I get a color I like. Then I merge all the layers and create a jpg file to upload to blogger. Easy Peasy.
The weather is getting warmer so I harvested the last of my lettuce crop. Here it is in all its glory. I was really impressed and please with the amount of lettuce that grew in a 24" pot on my patio. I planted it way back in February and it has given us several nice salads. I will definitely do this again, but not until after the summer heat. Maybe now I should plant a leaf crop that won't bolt in the heat. Any ideas?
