I didn't win Pioneer Woman's Photo Contest; I wasn't even in the runnning. Maybe I should have entered the Hot Cocoa roses in the above photo?
Or maybe I should have entered this vase full of soft pink roses? Or maybe I should just keep taking photos for my own enjoyment here Amongst The Oaks.
Here is a photo I just uploaded to Pioneer Woman's Photo Contest. I took this almost two years ago over at the Junior College's garden. I didn't think it was so great at the time, but when I opened it on my computer I really liked the mysterious and delicate way the leaves folded around the flower. I don't know what the prize is, but if you have some nice flower photos maybe you should enter too.
