Finished Dogs

Here is Amy's brother, Spot. Not to be confused with this Spot, who comes from a distinguished lineage and is well formed and well trained. My Spot looks pretty good, but I'm having some trouble training him up. Let's see if I can get him to sit.

"Sit, Spot, Sit!" Hmmmm.....Ok, let's try, "Come."

"Are you talking to me?"

Here comes Amy. Can you see her new eyes? I used tiny black beads and I like them better than the wool. I used black beads for Spot's eyes too, but you can hardly see them under his messy coat.

Being litter mates, they like to play together.

Spot always wants the upper paw.

Amy usually lets him have his way. But sometimes she holds her own.

And then finally they both get tired and have to take a nap.

But Spot is still pestering Amy and won't let her sleep.

Ah, finally quiet. Having two puppies is such work!

Is that Spot's tongue hanging out? Looks just like my dog--her's is always hanging out too. I think it's the sign of a happy dog :) !

Hi Laura. Those little dogs are SO CUTE. You did an awesome job, not only making them but giving them personalities. Have your friends and family asked you to make one for them yet ? I sure would! Rhondi

They are delightful and you are so clever to make them and pose them so realistically.

I have to tell you how much I am enjoying your creations as well as the dialogue. I am going to show these pictures to my grandson.

I just discovered your blog recently, and it always makes me smile.

I'm extremely impressed with your digging efforts! My goodness, I'm not surprised you couldn't walk!! I hope the aches and pains have all eased now :o)
What are you going to grow??

These two puppies are fantastic, if you didn't know they were for pretend, you would think they were for real! The poses you have managed to bend them into are so realistic. These are great fun, even for us big kids! x
