My friend Tam at The Gypsy's Corner is hosting her 18th Three or More Tuesday. I'm joining in with my collection of Royal plates and mugs.
I don't know why I picked up the first plate, but it was the one on the upper right. I bought it at an antique shop here in town. It celebrates Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1953. Probably some one's ancestor's unwanted souvenir. I liked it for the Queen's picture and also for the pretty floral border.
For years it sat alone and then...
my MIL gave me this tankard. I think she bought it in England when they visited in 1977. This tankard celebrates the Queen's Silver Jubilee. One side has her coat of arms and the other side has her initials and crown.

This mug and the little plate below are things I bought when I visited London in June of 2003.
So that's my collection of Royal plates. Please join Tam and all the other participants of Three or More Tuesday. And Happy St. Patrick's Day from Amongst The Oaks.
Edited late to add:
I am so sorry that I cannot visit all the other Three or More Tuesday participants, but Mr Linky hates me and won't let me see the links, so I'll only be able to visit you if you comment here. Thanks, Laura

I love your collection!
I lived in England many years ago (1977-1983). My mother is English, and my father was able to be stationed at an AF base near her family.
I would love to go back one day!
Thank you for sharing.
Lias
Lisa, what a fabulous collection! I adore that coronation mug with the coach! I have a couple of small mugs that people have given me, but your pieces are truly fine. Love them all. I adore the Queen, and I hope she lives to be over 100!
Happy Three or More Tuesday!
XO,
Sheila :-)

Happy Three or More Tuesday! I enjoy seeing your collection. I have never been to London. But both of my kids have.
What a neat collection! All of them are beautiful! Long live the Queen, so you can collect more royal souvenir items!...Christine
what a GORGEOUS collection of dishes!!!!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Happy St Patrick's Day! ~ Susan
Wow, what a great unique collection! Each one is beautiful!
Happy St. Pat's!
I was also in London in 2003, but in February. It was fabulous weather at the time. Loved everything about London except the exchange rate. I purchased a royal plate made by Spode when I was there. Your collection is fabulous.
What fun. I enjoyed seeing your collection. I love travelling to Great Britain. We were there in February of 2003. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy 'Three Or More' and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
What a GREAT collection!!! I visited England about 22 years ago but that was before I collected any type of dishes. Great to have those plates following the Queens royal history.
Have a wonderful evening,
Tam
